How the Pandemic Changed My Artistic Process

I will present some of my prints, drawings, and artist books, and art made collaboratively by friends, students, and children during the past few months. Themes I will discuss: Art to Promote Change, Social Connection, Creativity, A Safe and Positive and Escape from Reality, Shared Experience, and Exercises in Imagination. I will show the results from Tuesday Art, Saturday Art, Teaching Remotely, and talk about Exhibiting Art: Who, Where, and Why. It has been a busy and transformative time with dramatic ups and downs. Everything I will show has been made since March, mostly while talking on Zoom. Then we can open a dialogue about the creative process, collaboration, and the transformative power of art.

Process is a series of talks with artists and performers who speak to whichever part of their process they choose, with equal time for audience questions and comments.
