ātac is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization in downtown Framingham, MA whose mission is to provide a venue for visual and performing artists and nurture a community of artists, art supporters, and art appreciators in the MetroWest area of greater Boston.

 

Founded in 2005, we host high-quality, professional musicians and performers as well as being home to a variety of programs, open mics, and classes. Our vision includes bringing together a diverse community of artists and art appreciators of all ages, cultures, and interests in a supportive and nurturing environment.

 

We are seeking new applicants to our day of show crew which includes House Managers, Audio Engineers, Lighting Technicians, and Box Office Assistants. To be considered for one or more of these positions, fill out the corresponding form here

paid positions

House Managers are a crucial part of our day-of-show crew. They are responsible for understanding and communicating the event requirements to the performers and the day-of-show crew to ensure smooth execution of the event. House Managers step in to assist all roles when necessary and verify the safety of the venue as certified Crowd Managers. They accommodate members and ticket holders to provide an excellent creative experience. More info here!

Audio Engineers are a crucial part of our day-of-show crew. They are responsible for implementing the performer’s technical requests, set up and break down audio equipment, perform the soundcheck, and live mixing throughout the show. More info here

Lighting Technicians are a crucial part of our day-of-show crew. They are responsible for implementing the performer’s technical requests, program and operate lighting equipment, perform cues, and monitor lighting throughout the show. More info here

Reliable, warm, enthusiastic individuals needed for our box office on event nights. Box Office Assistants are responsible for checking in guests, selling tickets, memberships, and merchandise to patrons. They work closely with the House Manager and the Ushers to ensure a great experience for our guests. More info here

Reliable, warm, enthusiastic individuals needed to help our guests find their seats, direct them to the restrooms and refreshments, and our galleries. Ushers work closely with the House Manager and the Box Office Assistant to ensure a great experience for our guests. inquire here

refreshments attendant

Reliable, warm, enthusiastic individuals needed to serve our guests beer, wine, soft drinks, and pre-packaged snacks. Refreshments attendants work closely with the House Manager and ushers to ensure a great experience for our guests. his position requires TIPS Certification and a Framingham server ID (3.5 hours class cost: $25 + a $25 server ID fee).
