Explora: No Bad Ideas.

What’s Explora?

Explora is a low-key creative drop-in space in downtown Framingham, MA. One Saturday of each month, we open our doors to artists of all ages and skill levels for some quality shared studio time.

Families with younger kids can create alongside local artisans and grown-up makers. We’re always adding new materials, tools, and resources to our library; you’re welcome to use them, or bring your stuff. You can also just hang out. This isn’t a class and there are no expectations. Our friendly staff will be there to show you around, and you can leave with whatever you create.

Have a skill or project you want to share with the community? Reach out to our Program Manager, Vanessa De Leon, to find out about being a volunteer Creative Leader at Explora. Email vanessa@atac160.org.

When’s Explora?

Explora takes place on the Saturday just before the third Sunday each month, September through May. The event runs from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Upcoming dates for our 2023-2024 season are below.
