atac is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization in downtown Framingham, MA with a mission is to foster community and creativity through increased access to the arts.

We host high-quality, professional and emerging musicians and performers. Our vision includes bringing together a diverse community of artists and art appreciators of all ages, cultures, and interests in a supportive and nurturing environment. Paid Positions

  • House Managers are a crucial part of our day-of-show crew. They are responsible for understanding and communicating the event requirements to the performers and the day-of-show crew to ensure smooth execution of the event. House Managers step in to assist all roles when necessary and verify the safety of the venue as certified Crowd Managers. They accommodate members and ticket holders to provide an excellent creative experience. A full position description and application info is available here (PDF).

  • Assistant House Managers are trained in various run-of-show positions, from serving refreshments to the box office, and are responsible for assisting the House Manager to ensure events run smoothly. By providing excellent customer service to performing artists and patrons, the Assistant House Managers help create the welcoming, professional, inclusive environment that atac strives for at every event.   • Audio Engineers are a crucial part of our day-of-show crew. They are responsible for implementing the performer’s technical requests, set up and break down audio equipment, perform the soundcheck, and live mixing throughout the show. Volunteers are valued members of our community, and we’re always looking for enthusiastic, responsible help. We know there are many demands on your time and we're honored you're considering spending some of it with us.
